SAILINGS FROM SWANAGE PIER: Enjoy a half day cruise from the delightfully restored Victorian Pier to fabulous, vibrant Poole Quay, viewing Old Harry Rocks along the way. Sail along the spectacular Jurassic Coast bordering this part of Dorset Cruise into Poole Harbour viewing Brownsea Island and its Castle and the world's second largest natural harbour spread out before you. Spend up to 2˝ hours ashore, allowing time to visit the world famous Poole Pottery, Purbeck Pottery, Poole Park and Arboretum, or the very beautiful Compton Acres with its 7 acres of gardens - including the stunning Japanese Garden, or alternatively stay on board and enjoy a 2 hour return cruise. For those who like to shop 'til they drop visit the extensive shopping facilities at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, which houses most of the major chain stores. Stroll along the quayside, have a meal and a drink at one of the many cafes, restaurants and bars dotted along this lively and bustling part of Poole. Or maybe just sit and watch the street entertainment and the water activities ~ Poole Quay caters for every taste. |

Various events take place along Poole Quay all through the summer, and there's always something for everyone to enjoy whatever the weather. Solent Scene departs from Swanage Pier on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays departing at 11:45 am - pay on the boat.
